@femmefatalenet | Event Eleven | Aglaea attends the Last Ball of the Brazilian Empire | Death
Hosted on November 9th of 1889 in the Ilha Fiscal, an island in Guanabara Bay, the ball was the last great party of the empire, displaying luxury and refinement not often seen in the brazilian crown. Six days later, on November 15th, came the military coup d'etat that overthrew the monarchy and established the Republic.
